Every love has its unique story. Such is the story of me and my Furry baby Pepa. We grew up together in the warmth of the same home in Mumbai, India. We shared a bond that kept growing stronger with each passing day. She is literally my sibling with whom I would live, play, fight. Like soulmates, we shared every moment of joy and sorrow. 

But times change, with age responsibilities grow and then comes a twist in my joy filled story. My wife got the job in Luxembourg and we had to relocate to this beautiful country.

Certainly it was a painful moment for me to depart from my extended family and Pepa. I missed Pepa immensely and I still do. It was a very difficult time for Pepa and I. My family back in India consulted a dog trainer as Pepa’s wellness was the most important.

We gradually started with our daily routine as settling in a new country is not easy. 

I, being a skilled artist, decided to utilize my love for art for my furry love. I started sketching Pepa’s portrait, this perked up my mood but I eagerly wished to keep Pepa close to my heart. 

This quest led to the birth of a beautifully brilliant idea which is ‘pet portrait embroidery’ on clothing. I stitched an embroidery patch of Pepa on my favourite hoodie that was precisely close to my heart. My heart was filled with joy and eyes with tears. 

That was a moment of delight and transformation for me. My friends and family members loved this idea and asked me to customize a pet-portrait for them too. And This was the onset of our cool venture ‘thefurrstlove.com’.

The name ‘furrstlove’ says it all. I am an avid pet lover and my Pepa is my first love forever. My mission at Furrstlove is to to develop something so special for every animal lover/parent that they could cherish literally forever.
